Diary and reservation questions

You can find our up-to-date diary on Eventbrite or via this page

We have found that Eventbrite takes the hassle out of creating a diary on this website and also offer the option for scheduling etc. It also reduces the amount of administration for the team.

Reservations are mostly free to make online. Rarely do we ask for a deposit or payment (see below). Reservations help us determine the quantity of resources to prepare in advance.

There are occasions where a class or workshop, which is high cost to Taff Rocks, requires a commitment from the person(s) wishing to attend. All too often we find that a class or workshop is fully booked without any cancellations made and we have to turn people away. We then find that some just don't turn up, taking the space of someone who would have committed and it's too late to contact them

Yes you can, simply go to our subscribe page and select the newsletter(s) you're interested in or simply 'Subscribe all'

Payments and finances questions

Although Taff Rocks is a charity, we ask for contributions toward cost recovery e.g. hire, utilities etc and replacement of resources. However, the 'costs' we list are suggestions. If someone cannot meet the full or any part of the costs, we don't turn them away.

Payments and contributions for classes and workshops can be made when you arrive by cash, card or Taff Rocks gift cards / vouchers.

Yes you can, you can 'pay it forward' with a gift voucher. You can then gift this voucher or leave it on our board for someone to take that will help them with their contribution to attend a class or workshop.

Yes you can. You can make your donation via card at the venue or you can gift using the PayPal Giving Fund, where we receive 100% of your donation.

The trustees dedicate and funds in this box to all refreshment related items - tea, coffee, sugar, milk etc. You don't have to make a contribution for your refreshments but, to help replenish the stock, there's an 'Honest box' on the refreshment station where your donation amount is anonymous. And we thank you deeply for this

Of course you can, simply drop by the Charity Commission website for all the information available to the public.
